This villa is truly spectacular. The pictures do not do it justice. As you drive through the gates, you see the villa emerge and it just takes your breathe away. The villa is modern, beautifully tiled floors but decorated with such thought and warmth. The villa is bright and airy but cozy at the same time. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities. The fridge was filled with food and drinks from our pre-arrival request list but also extra items the host and concierge provided. I asked our concierge to help organise some cooked arrival food as we landed late into the evening and the kids would have been hungry. It was absolutely lovely. Freshly roasted chicken with potatoes, green beans, and salad from a local restaurant. Absolutely delicious. The rooms were immaculate and clean with clean towels provided. The pool was amazing too, clean and great size. The view from the villa was great, vast ocean beyond. This villa is designed with architectural thought and the location was perfect for us. A quiet and relaxed area not too far from two of our favourite spots: Lake Kournas and Gerani beach (the seafood paella is to die for @Fisalida taverna). Do not hesitate, just book this villa and you will not be disappointed. We had an absolute dream holiday at Manos' house. It is an incredible place. Modern and comfortable, beautiful and with lots of lovely details from the fragrant towels to the fantastically equipped kitchen. The bathrooms (as the whole house) are brand new and amazing and the beds big and comfy. You can have a lovely time at the house even when it is raining for a day, then just relax in the living room with the big TV and chess set and some music - definitely have the sliding doors open so you can see the sea and hear its sound, it's such a holiday feeling. The greatest thing about the house is the outdoor area with the barbecue and the amazing pool. It is really big and you are just a few meters away from the sea, so you can just relax there and look at the waves. You can also do your yoga or whatever on the lawn. If you stay at this villa, you feel like you really don't have to go anywhere else to have a lovely time. It is about 1 hour from Heraklion airport, absolutely easy to find by car. Supermarkets are just a 5 minute drive away and there is a mini market within walking distance. The lovely town of Rethymnon is 15 minutes by car and it is for sure worth visiting with its beautiful small streets. Definitely reserve a table for dinner at Prima Plora, one of the most beautiful restaurants we have ever been at. Also Alana is always a good choice - but if you need any recommendation, you well get it from Manos, Dimitra or the marvellous concierge Menios, who welcomed us with a cheese and olive plate and made us feel at home immediately. He also has a list of everything that is important and good to know about the area and the house and is always reachable by text if you want to know where you can buy the best fresh fish, go to dinner or what is worth visiting. We will definitely try and come back as soon as possible and will recommend the house to all our friends - it is just a beautiful place.

We had a wonderful vacation at Manos' villa. The villa looks exactly like on the pictures. Everything is new, clean and very stylish. The whole house is very light-flooded and especially great are the mosquito ducks at every window/door. The view is breathtaking. The concierge Menios was a great help. He gave us a lot of advice, planned our trips and was available for us at any time. We highly recommend the villa.

This house is newly built and very functional and stylish. Manos and Menios, our Concierge, did everything they could to make our stay at the villa unforgettable. Thank you so much! As the house is so new, the owner has not had time to build steps down to the beach. We promised Menios to come back, if these steps are built. :-) All in all, we had a fantastic time!

All new, all mod cons, excellent service. No access to beach/sea though even though it’s right there. Woken very early by dogs and cockerels , so maybe not for the light sleeper.
